Fisher House Foundation returns 91.9% of its donations to the programs and services it provides. Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that Fisher House Foundation exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in their area of work. Less than one percent of the charities rated by Charity Navigator have received at least 15 consecutive 4-star evaluations. The Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veterans’families can stay free of charge, enabling them to be close during a hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease or injury. Holiday House proudly donates a portion of all Canadian HomelandWater Filter™ proceeds to Valour Place. Valour Place is a temporary home away from home for all Canadian Forces members, RCMP, Families of the Fallen, Veterans and First Responders along with their families who require medical treatment in Edmonton, and live outside the city/area. Through Valour Place , they have the means to face the challenges of rehabilitation in a warm, welcoming and supportive environment, at no cost. Valour Place , the first of its kind in Canada, will be sustained through long term leases, donations, endowment income and special events. Valour Place is located in Edmonton’s Kingsway District, known as Edmonton andWestern Canada’s Medical, Health andWellness destination.
